How do I properly install my Strateo3D DUAL600 Series 2?The machine must be placed on a stable support capable of bearing more than 100 kg, at a recommended height of 80 to 85 cm. It must be installed in a dry, ventilated environment, free from liquid or gaseous projections.
The particle filter must be installed before powering on (M4 screws supplied, quantity depending on the filter model). -
Can I move the machine by myself?No. The Strateo3D weighs 100 kg and must be handled using lifting equipment or by several people, exclusively by the four machine feet.

How do I connect the machine to the electrical network?Connect the machine to a dedicated power outlet fitted with a 20A fuse using the supplied C19 power cable. Never use a different cable or an overloaded power strip.

How do I connect the Strateo3D to StratoControl3D?Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable, then check the IP address in Settings > Network on the touchscreen. StratoControl3D is accessible via a web browser on PC, tablet, or smartphone. For security reasons, the connection is only possible on the same network to which the machine is connected.

Which systems are compatible?MacOS, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and any system equipped with a web browser.

Can I send files via Wi-Fi?By default, the available connections are USB and Ethernet.
Materials & Nozzles

Which materials can I print?Characterized materials include: PLA, ABS, ASA-X, PC, PC-ABS, PETG, TPU98A, HIPS, PVA, BVOH, PA6-CF, PEKK, ACETATE, etc.
The machine accepts any 1.75 mm filament with compatible temperature ranges (up to 500°C). -
Which nozzle sizes are compatible?Six diameters are available: 0.25 / 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 mm. The choice depends on surface finish, production speed, and final part strength.

Which adhesion promoter should be used for each material?

How do I properly load filament?1. Cut the filament at an angle
2. Insert it into the spool drawer through the filament runout sensor
3. Activate heating
4. Use the Extrude button until 7 cm of filament exits the nozzle
5. If necessary, use the Purge button to extrude an additional 10 cm to clear the previous material
Preheating & Calibration

Why are 45 minutes of preheating required?The internal volume (600×420×500 mm) and heated chamber require sufficient time for thermal stabilization.
Insufficient preheating may cause:- Warping
- Incorrect Z-offset
- Invalid calibrations

Do I need to recalibrate when changing material?Yes, if you change temperature ranges (e.g. PLA → ABS).
No, if you stay within the same material family (e.g. PLA → TPU, same preheating). -
Which types of calibration are available?
- Thermal model calibration
- Bed calibration (35 points)
- Z adjustment
- X/Y calibration of both nozzles
Printing

How do I start a print?Select a file via the Printing tab:
- From a USB flash drive
- From the internal storage accessible via the network

The machine pauses automatically. Is this normal?Yes. Automatic pauses are triggered by:
- Filament runout
- Anomaly detection
- Door opening (optional)

What happens after a power outage?The machine resets and returns to its nominal standby state.

My first layer does not stick. What should I do?
- Check bed degreasing (isopropyl alcohol only)
- Ensure the correct adhesion promoter is used
- Redo the Z adjustment
- Ensure the machine is fully preheated
- Ensure the enclosure remains closed during printing
Safety & Use

What happens if I open the door during printing?Depends on the settings (automatic pause possible).

The machine gets very hot. Is this normal?Yes. The enclosure can reach 70°C, the nozzles up to 500°C, and the bed up to 140°C.
Never touch hot components or insert your hand into the enclosure while operating.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting

What should I do if the nozzle does not heat up?Check:
- That preheating is enabled
- That the correct material is selected
- Whether an update is in progress
- Whether an error message is displayed (automatic diagnostics)

How should I maintain the build plate?After each print:
- Remove parts once the plate is cold
- Remove residues
- Clean with water
- Degrease with isopropyl alcohol

The machine detects filament runout while the spool is fullPossible causes:
- Filament not correctly routed through the sensor
- Filament broken inside the PTFE tube
- Sensor disabled in Settings > Machine

My part lifts off the bed during printing (warping)Solutions:
- Ensure 45 minutes of preheating
- Use the correct adhesion promoter
- Increase bed temperature
- Close the enclosure
- Prefer a larger nozzle for ABS (0.6 or 0.8)
